ICE BSD Convention Center

Developed by PT. Indonesia International Expo, a joint venture between Kompas Gramedia and Sinarmas Land, the Indonesian Convention Exhibition (ICE) is located in the heart of BSD City, a highly visible location in town. The total land area is approximately 220.000 sqm, the venue holds one of the most spacious exhibition and convention center in Indonesia.

Extracted up to the 1000 m long, the building won the Purpose Built Category from FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards in 2017. The innovative steel roof structures with super-strength tensile cables suspended to facilitate a full spectrum of business events. From concerts, exhibitions, to weddings and conferences.

The glass panels architecture allows the conference halls to receive more natural lights. During sundown, ICE uses LED lights throughout the building, which saves them more than 80% of electricity alone. The building recycles water for toilet flush tanks and to water the gardens surrounding the building. In 2015, ICE won the Most Energy Efficient Building of the Year Award from the Department of Energy and Natural Resources at the 4th National Energy Efficiency Awarding.
